Area Airport

The San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field) is located 3.3 miles SE (10 minutes) from downtown San Diego. The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina does not provide shuttle service, but taxi cabs, sedans, rental cars, and ride shares, are good options. Estimated taxi fare is $18 USD (one way).

Visa Information

If you require Visa assistance to attend GS1 Connect 2022, you should first review CDC travel guidelines. If you are able to comply with their guidance for international travel, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information included (Failure to supply this required information in your email will result in a delay):

  • Attendee’s First Name, Last Name, and Prefix (Ms., Miss, Mr., Mrs.)
  • Attendee’s Name As It Appears On Passport
  • Date of Birth
  • Place of Birth
  • Attendee’s Company Name, Address and Title
  • Travel Document Number (Passport number)
  • Issue Date of Passport
  • Embassy Name and Address
  • If You Are a GS1 Member Organization, Provide the Address and Contact Name at the Organization
  • Provide the Email Address Where the Visa Letter Should Be Sent

Recommended Attire

The recommended attire for GS1 Connect 2022 is business casual. Suitable attire ranges from jeans with a button-down or blazer, to slacks with a tie and practical footwear. As our community has adapted to working differently for more than two years, we are looking forward to seeing everyone together in what makes them feel most comfortable!
